CCP really need to think this again, i'm having the exact same probs as everyone else, download error blah blah, just chatted to a friend of mine on phone who ownes a mac and his requirments are just short to run it. CCP are gonna loose alot of custom over this

Tomorrow everyone will have the new expansion and then all the complaints are over .... but still we want it NOW :P (me three)

Chaos rains in the EVE world, this is so FRAKKED UP. I'm just hoping it's down to the amount of people downloading the patch......prob is other half of my head says will i even be able to run the god dam thing. CCP i think have really shot themselves in the foot and gonna loose alot of customers. Alot more advanced warning should have been published on the req to run, all the patch says is what graphics cards you may need, it is all so vague. More clarification please CCP...............now..........wanna fly my new navy raven you frakkers.....GGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!

Close but no cigar Sylvannaa the fact of the matter is we shouldn't have to be doing this, we're all lovers of EVE and being denied our fix and escapism is comp heart wrenching............ sad i know but hey

oh rubbish............i have a feeling i cant play this game anymore now as i dont have requirements for premium, and if thats the minimum for playing the new patch then i'm frakked. Thats a customer lost CCP

Well i suppose in fairness they did say set a long skill so i went for a 3 day jobby (dirty word jobby) so they were clearly expecting probs and in all fairness considering the size of the patch it was inevitable

or then again it might get to end and tell me corrupted download

I finally sussed it after 24hrs of struggling. After trying 3 times to download patch with load errors each time at end, i ended up comp uninstalling game, going to eve main page and reloading the game which worked HURRAH! But......another issue has cropped up. Was warping thru a gate when my ship did not respond to any jump commands and was stuck in cloak, came out of game, and now every time i try to rejoin my character it loads the character settings but stays on full bar and does not go into game, anyone with same issues?
